Branding has redefined itself to meet the galloping advances in technology, that demand for interactive and curated branding for products, services or institutions, that evoke meaningful experiences. The MA in Brand Experience Design (BXD) aims to provide students with the required knowledge and skills that shape the experience of a brand in the context of physical and digital environments. Based on interdisciplinary thinking, students will engage in the design of the brand experience, in a wide variety of areas, ranging from graphic design, illustration, motion graphics, UI/UX design, audio, space, interaction design, and visual communication in general. In doing so, they will expand their learning in brand experience design as a concept that engages the intended audiences in creative digital and physical interactions aligned with the brand, involving them in a process where their needs, emotions, limitations, and contexts are collectively considered. The proposed programme responds to contemporary socio-cultural and technological trends, opportunities, and challenges, and aims to encourage the cultivation of innovative thinkers and problem solvers in the creative industries of the new era. It facilitates studio spaces, technological resources and technical expertise following industry standards and establishes close collaborations with the professional community. Moreover, students will have the opportunity to develop and deepen their knowledge, by conducting independent research for a Thesis project.
