How to Apply

Step 1

Create a new account and enter a valid e-mail address.

Step 2

Follow the instructions you will receive on your personal e-mail to create your profile (personal information) in our system. Keep the access codes you will receive (username/password) to access the Portal.

Step 3

From the web link https://sis.cut.ac.cy/irj/portal enter the username and password (as they were sent to your personal e-mail) in order to enter the Portal and to submit your application.

Step 4

Depending on the Type of Submission (Special Categories, Vacant Positions, Transfers, Second Degree, Pancyprian Exams, Postgraduate Programmes, Doctorate, etc.) create an application to programmes with your preferred order (up to 3 choices) and attach any supporting documents required.

Requirements

Earned Degrees

A copy of all earned Degrees (or a confirmation letter stating that the candidate is expected to graduate prior to the start of the course).

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic or Multimedia design, from a recognized and accredited university in the country where it operates, or evaluated as equivalent to a University degree by the Cyprus Agency of Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Higher Education (CYQAA). Undergraduate students that are about to graduate can apply for a master’s programme, considering that they expect to receive their University degree before the commencement of the master’s programme.

Portfolio

A portfolio (a showcase of an applicant’s design or audiovisual work).

Statement of Interest

A statement of interest (approximately 500 words) in which the candidate explains why he/she wishes to pursue this graduate programme as well as indicating specific areas of academic, design, and research interests

CV

Curriculum Vitae (C.V)

Academic Transcripts

A copy of academic transcripts – grades.

English B2–C1

Evidence of English proficiency *[candidate students are required to have certification for “Very Good Knowledge” of English at level B2-C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)].

Civil ID

Copy of a valid passport or Civil ID.

Extras

Applicants may also include any additional documents such as relevant academic and research work (publications, articles, workshops, short courses, etc), relevant professional experience, design awards, etc that can aid in the evaluation of their application.
